Hello everyone!

Have had a really enjoyable week. The exam results for the students at college came out and were pretty good. That means the students are finally coming back this week and we will begin teaching again although I’ve found plenty to keep me busy whilst they have been on holiday!

Well, all the UK based training is now done and in three weeks time I'll be in Country. I am on a Welsh Assembly funded short term (8 week) placement.

My work will involve a specialist report on a 4 year plan to maintain and improve a rural network of roads in the Babessi district of Cameroon.

Hi all!

I will be finally leaving my hometown, Gibraltar, on Tues 9th Feb. After catching up with family and friends in London I will be flying to Ghana on 14th. I cant wait, Im full of excitement, beans, you name it. I am intrigued to meet my fellow VSO companions and to spend a week in Accra so watch this space!

 I really apologise for not updating my blog more frequently and must do better in the new year. I can't believe that 2 months have gone by since the last one!
